BlairConnect is an all-volunteer program that was conceived to help bridge the digital divide. Our goal is to make sure that every student has a computer in his or her home, with access to the Internet.
We refurbish higher-end usable computers and install a number of freeware programs, making the computer useful to any student without further configuration.
Blair students, along with staff members and volunteers, refurbish the computers and work hard to maintain a high level of quality control. We have over the years developed many interesting ways of streamlining our operation. Currently, we can turn out as many as one hundred computers a month (when available). Computers are handed out at designated times on school days after school hours.
